Events & Ministry Coordinator – Offsite, Part-Time

Apartment Life | Louisville, KY

Paid Part-Time Position | $20/hour

About the Role

We are seeking mission-minded, highly relational, and responsible coordinators who enjoy meeting new people, planning social activities, and helping people experience God’s unconditional love.

Coordinators have the opportunity to participate in “business as a ministry” by faithfully combining excellence in business with loving their neighbors well.

Important Details
  • Part-time: 16 hours per month
  • Location: One apartment community in Louisville, KY
  • Start: August 2026
  • Schedule: Business hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Offsite role: The coordinator does not need to live onsite.
  • Pay: $20/hour
  • The coordinator will drive to the community to perform their duties.

    Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plan and host 2 events each month for residents, focused on caring for and connecting with residents, building connections among residents, and connecting residents with local services and businesses.
  • Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with the help of residents and a network of community support.
  • Enhance the community’s online reputation by encouraging residents to share their experiences.
  • Create marketing materials such as monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media posts.
  • Manage the event budget process.
  • Prepare monthly summaries.
  • Meet with staff and the program director for planning, equipping, and development.
  • Engage volunteers, vendors, and other community partners to maximize impact.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
    .
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Basic English fluency to create marketing materials and required reports.
  • Current driver’s license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to commit weekly hours, mainly evenings and weekends when most residents are home.
  • Ability to fulfill the minimum-term commitment to serving the apartment community.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous event planning experience.
  • Experience working within a budget.
  • Experience using social media.
  • A network of potential volunteers, vendors, or community partners.
