Sproutlings is a one-of-a-kind pediatric day care and preschool offering both traditional early childhood education and Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) services for medically fragile children.
We’re seeking committed, compassionate childcare professionals who are ready to make a lasting impact. Whether working with our traditional or medically fragile students, your role as a Teaching Assistant will help shape a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where every child can thrive.

- work one-on-one or with small groups of children
- prepare lesson materials and educational tools
- ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and stimulating
- supervise children at all times and ensure a secure environment
- provide positive guidance and implement behavior policies
- support hygiene, nap times, and nutritious meals/snacks
- participate in songs, stories, and sensory play
- follow all emergency procedures and safety policies
- contribute to a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroom
- experience as a childcare assistant or classroom/teaching aide
- a passion for working with children of all abilities
- strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- a high level of patience, empathy, and enthusiasm
- willingness to learn and follow all policies, including state licensing regulations
- successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
