Shirley Parsons is partnered with an industry-leading client in the construction of a large-scale data center project. We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Manager to lead all aspects of site safety, compliance, and risk management. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project while working with a top-tier team.

Contract To Hire Opportunity
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive site safety plans in compliance with OSHA and client standards
- Conduct regular site audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
- Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding for new site personnel
- Collaborate with field management and subcontractors to ensure alignment with safety expectations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Monitor and maintain site safety documentation, including permits, logs, and incident records
- Act as the primary on-site safety liaison for all stakeholders
- Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) is required (e.g., CHST, CSP, OHST, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of safety experience in construction, with at least 3 years on complex, high-risk projects (e.g., data centers, heavy civil, energy, or industrial sites)
- Proven track record of managing safety on fast-paced construction sites
- Deep knowledge of OSHA 1926 regulations, as well as familiarity with NFPA, ANSI, and other applicable standards
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action planning
- Proficiency in safety management software and reporting systems
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop rapport with a wide range of stakeholders including trades, engineers, and executive-level clients
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to project start)
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Experience in data center or mission-critical environments is highly advantageous
