Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception through completion. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality standards and safety requirements are maintained.
- Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
- Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and delays.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of project management experience within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and project management principles.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential construction projects.
- Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, or similar project management platforms.
