Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 per year. Per diem pay.
Job DetailsSite Superintendents will be responsible for supervising and scheduling all concrete activities at local job sites, directing foremen, ensuring jobs are completed on time and on budget, and ensuring quality and safety requirements are met.
Key Roles- Supervising all aspects of the job site, including safety and quality standards.
- Communicating with owners and owner’s representatives consistently.
- Resolving conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims.
- Instructing field staff on processes, policies, and procedures essential to the project.
- Planning and supervising the field activities, such as method of construction, manpower, material quantities, equipment, and schedules.
- Working closely with office staff on production rates, construction methods, and schedules.
- Participating in Level 10 meetings with local office staff.
- Continuously expanding knowledge and use of industry best practices and innovation.
- Solving problems as they arise using available knowledge and resources.
- Understanding and applying the company’s labor relations policies.
- Communicating and upholding the company’s commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics, and ensuring the same for the team.
- Other relevant tasks as assigned.
- At least five (5) years in concrete or heavy civil construction.
- Creative, results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptable and flexible in working with all types of individuals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work positively with team members.
