AECOM Transportation is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Construction Inspector / Technician to join the Kentucky team.

Step into Your New Role as a Construction Inspector
, you will perform general construction inspection tasks to verify compliance standards codes, and ordinances, zoning regulations, as well as contract plans, specifications, and special provisions. Projects will consist of bridges, roadways, and environmental components to these services. Requires flexibility with working schedule as often subject to contractor timelines. This role involves inspection of roadway and bridge construction within Kentucky.

• Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety and code requirements.
• Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation.
• General understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
• Understanding of highway construction and specifications.

• High School diploma + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with KYTC Construction Specifications.
• Have necessary certifications from KYTC to perform inspection.
• This role does not provide Visa Sponsorship, nor will it in the future.
