Construction Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction

Louisville, KY. Full-time. $75,000 - $90,000 DOE

Currently looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Project Engineer with 3-5 years or more hands on experience to fill an opening with a growing leader in treatment plant construction. Interested candidates must not have more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years and have at least 3-5 years minimum of experience in this industry.

• Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets.
• Run assigned project(s) to meet or surpass budget and on time completion.
• Collect and code project cost documents and continually monitor and update the budget to reflect changes in work.
• Monitor project schedules and review work schedules for improving work methods.
• Oversee the timely submittal and completion of documentation required by the owner and agencies.
• Prepare subcontractor and supplier agreements to be executed and prepare correspondence to document changes in work or costs.
• Work with foreman and superintendents to monitor all activities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment for crews, subcontractors and the public.
• Promote good public relations with owners, subcontractors, and the public.

• Four year degree in Construction Management or Engineering field.
• Proven Project Engineering skills in Water/Wastewater self-performed construction.
• Skill in successfully working with project teams and preconstruction with structural concrete, mechanical process piping and excavation experience.
• Team player with strong work ethic.
• It done attitude.
• Medium to very large sized experience in the $50M - $200M project range.
• Working knowledge of Design Build and alternative delivery methods is a Big Plus.

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $90,000 DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus, full medical coverage and paid vacation/PTO.
