Industrial
Project Manager

Miranda Construction | Project Management | Full-Time

Note:

Candidates must have industrial construction project management experience. Experience limited to commercial or residential general contracting without industrial project experience will not qualify. A minimum of 3 years as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on industrial construction projects required for consideration. We appreciate your respect for these qualifications.

At Miranda Construction, we build the best buildings, with the best people. Our reputation is rooted in disciplined project execution, collaborative partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety on every project we deliver.

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to join our team — a proven leader who thrives on tight coordination, holds high standards, and can drive a project from preconstruction through closeout with confidence and professionalism.

Role Purpose

The Industrial Project Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for Miranda Construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will be responsible for overall project execution — managing budgets, schedules, contracts, owner and subcontractor relationships, and ensuring each project is completed safely, on time, on budget, and incompliance with plans and specifications.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to drive coordination and organization across office and field teams on active industrial projects.

Why You'll Thrive at Miranda Construction
  • Accountability and Ownership:
You'll have real authority over your projects and be trusted to lead — not just report.
  • Strong Subcontractor Relationships:
We treat our subs as partners. You'll manage relationships built on mutual respect, clear communication, and fair expectations.
  • Structured Support:
You won't be left guessing. Our field and preconstruction teams provide the plans, resources, and administrative backbone you need to execute without friction.
  • Competitive Compensation Package:
Salary, bonus, company vehicle, fuel card, health/dental/vision, 401k, PTO, and paid holidays.
  • Career Growth:
We invest in leaders who produce results and want to grow within the organization.

  • Lead weekly project team and owner/architect coordination meetings to align the work and address issues proactively.
  • Identify schedule, budget, or scope risks and drive timely resolution with the project team and stakeholders.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Oversee project-wide quality control standards and enforce strict adherence to plans, specifications, and local codes.

  • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Manage and track ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and communicate impacts to the project team and owner.
  • Preside at pre-construction meetings with each subcontractor to align expectations before work begins.
  • Attend toolbox talks and safety meetings led by the field team.

Budget & Contract Management

  • Monitor project budgets and cost reports, identifying variances and implementing corrective action.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
