Position SummaryJob Skills / Requirements
To provide Project Management and oversight for all phases in construction of heavy industrial (inside the fence) projects in the Louisville and surrounding Region, including estimating, workforce, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
Duties & Responsibilities- Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects
- Build relationship with subcontractors and business partners in the market
- Oversees performance of all projects and timelines, including employees, contract trade workforce and any subcontractors
- Reviews engineering drawings to ensure all specifications and regulations meets regulations, and are being followed
- Will be responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and obtaining all necessary permits and licenses
- Reviews and responds to any safety concerns and/or infractions, to ensure that they are corrected and reported in a timely manner
- Tracks project schedule and ensures that projects stays within estimated timeline
- Controls construction cost, deliveries and schedule to achieve completion of project within budget allocation
- Communicates with owners about progress and any necessary modifications of plans
- Serves as Louisville market project expert for the division
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- 5 + years of Industrial Project Experience
- 4 + years of mid to executive level leadership experience
- Must have large project, multi-million dollars, construction experience
- Must be able to read, interpret and execute engineer drawings, estimates, work instructions
- Ability to develop and lead employees and contract workforce
- Possess a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality
Must be able to lift, bend, stoop and reach. Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time, view computer monitor and use keyboard.
