Experienced Construction Laborer

Black Rock Contracting is seeking an Experienced Construction Laborer to support on-site construction activities in Louisville, KY.

The Experienced Construction Laborer is responsible for helping deliver construction projects safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards. This role performs hands-on labor on job sites while assisting skilled trades and supporting daily site operations.

Working onsite in Louisville, KY, you will contribute to the overall success of the project by maintaining a clean, organized work area, following job instructions, and supporting team members to meet production goals.

• Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled construction tasks under the direction of supervisors and lead personnel

• Assist with site preparation, material handling, and basic installation support as needed

• Maintain safe work practices by following site safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements

• Support jobsite organization by keeping work areas clean, tools accounted for, and materials staged appropriately

• Collaborate with the crew to complete tasks on schedule and elevate issues that impact safety or progress

• Proven experience working in construction and performing hands-on labor tasks on active job sites

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a team

• Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, including lifting and sustained manual labor

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and proper use of jobsite PPE

• Reliable attendance and readiness to perform consistently during full-time onsite work

• Experience assisting with carpentry, concrete, masonry, or general site work

• Familiarity with basic jobsite tools and safe material handling practices

• Ability to read simple drawings, layouts, or instructions to support assigned tasks

• Prior experience working on commercial or residential construction projects

Hourly rate: $23.00 - $25.00
