Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team. This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday) during school hours and is based out of the Louisville, KY area (within a 2‑hour radius).

Pay & benefits:

• Hourly rate $27.00 for clinic hours worked and drive time
• No weekend hours

• Active Kentucky X-ray License required

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies; maintain company van, all of which remain in your possession at all times.
• Assist Dentist with portable operatory setup inside schools and perform chairside procedures as needed.
• Load/unload and set up dental operatory inside school.
• Perform various administrative duties.

• Current Kentucky X-ray License (MUST).
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2‑hour radius.
