Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Architect located in Louisville, KY. The Project Architect will lead the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with client needs and project specifications. Responsibilities include managing architectural submittals, overseeing building design processes, utilizing advanced tools like Building Information Modeling (BIM), and ensuring compliance with sustainable design principles such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
Collaboration with other architects, designers, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget is also required.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Architecture, Project Management, and Submittals processes
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and technologies
- Experience with sustainable design principles, including Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- Professional licensure as an Architect is preferred
- Familiarity with historic building preservation and reuse is a plus
