Sacred Heart Preschool seeks a long-term full-time substitute Toddler Education Teacher effective August 3, 2026. An understanding of and experience in teaching in an inquiry and play-based school is highly desired, as is an awareness of differentiated instruction. Sacred Heart Preschool is a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool, and the only International Baccalaureate (IB) preschool in the state of Kentucky. Candidates with strengths in teaching with a Reggio-Emilia influence, Positive Guidance, inquiry teaching, and play-based philosophy are highly encouraged to apply.

Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, ability, and desire to work collaboratively, and dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence in one’s teaching are also essential. Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree in education as well as experience in early childhood education.
