Our school district, located just west of Dayton, OH, is seeking passionate and qualified Intervention Specialists / Special Education Teachers to join our team immediately. These positions are crucial for providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, and the contract will run through May 27, 2025. We have openings at both an Early Learning Center and a Middle School, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in students' lives.

• Work Schedule:
  
  37.5 hours per week
• Locations:
  • Early Learning Center:
    Two positions available
    • Caseload:
      One self-contained classroom with 8 students and one resource classroom serving 20 students.
  • Middle School:
    One position available

In these roles, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address the specific needs of each student in your caseload. You will provide targeted instruction and support, whether in a self-contained setting at the Early Learning Center or through resource/co‑teaching models at the Middle School. Collaboration with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff is essential to create an inclusive and effective learning environment.

• Licensure: A valid Ohio Department of Education License is required.
• Preferred:
  Candidates with PreK licensure are strongly encouraged.
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience working with students in early childhood or middle school settings is beneficial.
