About This Role

We are looking for passionate and creative early childhood educators to join our teaching community for the  school year. 2nd Pres believes learning starts with safe and healthy relationships between teachers and children. From there, our curriculum is a balance of supporting developmental milestones and supporting children's interests through hands‑on, experiential learning. We serve children 6 weeks through kindergarten and utilize our beautiful building and outdoor campus for all ages.

The Co‑Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day‑to‑day operational activities of the classroom. Co‑teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Co‑teachers must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

2nd Pres. Weekday School values staff for their wonder and curiosity, skill and knowledge, and commitment to families.
