Summary

POSITION: Help Me Grow Home Visitor/Early Childhood Administrative Assistant

a.) Full time
- Monday through Friday for 10 months, two days per week during the summer months.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing home visits to eligible infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families utilizing a planned curriculum.
• Assist with office management, such as organizing monthly developmental screening clinics, completing enrollment forms and required data for preschool programs.
• Assist with intake and referral process of infants, toddlers and preschoolers into the Help Me Grow program and the Educational Service Center preschool programs entry.
• Assist with parental involvement, outreach and public awareness activities.
• Assist with reporting required data to appropriate Ohio departments.
• Greet parents and maintain a positive attitude and communication with parents, students, team mates and the public.
• Attend all required relevant trainings ie. (Child Development, Home Observation, Postnatal Depression) within the required timelines.

HOURS OF WORK:

8:00 to 4:00 Monday-Friday (minimum work day of 7 hours exclusive of lunch)

CONTRACT:

10 Month Contract Employment Period, following school calendar with two days per week required during the summer months to continue home visiting program duties.
