Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapy Department within the Lansing School of Nursing & Clinical Sciences at Bellarmine University invites applications for qualified part-time faculty to provide instruction for RTH 430/630:
Cardiopulmonary Disease Management II during the Fall 2026 semester.

This course will be delivered entirely online in an asynchronous format. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for facilitating an engaging and academically rigorous learning experience, communicating regularly with students, evaluating student performance, providing timely feedback, and maintaining course materials within the university's learning management system. The instructor will also be expected to follow established course objectives, departmental standards, and university policies.

Bellarmine University's Fall 2026 semester begins August 20, 2026. Adjunct faculty appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis and are contingent upon departmental needs, course enrollment, and university approval.

Qualified candidates should possess relevant academic credentials and professional experience in respiratory therapy, cardiopulmonary care, disease management, or a closely related clinical field. Previous college-level teaching experience, particularly in an online or asynchronous environment, is preferred.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a master's or doctoral degree, experience in the clinical specialty area, and license to practice as a professional respiratory therapist in Kentucky or Indiana.

Prior teaching experience is preferred.
