Assistant Principal
Acceptance of a JCPS administrator position serves as acknowledgement of a 1 year commitment to the position and location of acceptance. No new or existing administrator will be authorized to be considered for a lateral move until that commitment is met. Please find the complete JCASA Agreement, attached. 215/8 Estimated New Hire Annual Salary Range: $74,081.15 - $ Subject to Salary Placement Rules
Scope of Responsibilities:
The middle school Assistant Principal, under the direction of and as assigned by the Principal, directs, supervises, and evaluates the instructional programs and the work of all assigned personnel, maintains pupil welfare and desirable school community relations, and develops and executes building rules, regulations, and procedures consistent with general policies of system.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree with Kentucky Certification in Administration and Supervision on level of assignment - Principal Certification Three (3) years successful teaching experience Effective communication skills
