We are currently looking for a full-time Re-entry Admissions Representative. The Re-entry Admissions Representative works with former students of The Sullivan University System in an effort to generate their interest in returning to school. The Re-entry Admissions Representative is responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of students necessary to ensure enrollment objectives and the needs of the students are met.
Weekly hours for this position will include three 8 am-5 pm days, one 10 am-7 pm day, Fridays 8 am-4:30 pm, and occasional Saturdays. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities of the position include:- Makes contact through outbound recruiting calls, emails and text messages to former Sullivan University System students in order to set and conduct appointments; conducts referral campaigns and participates in career fairs, education fairs and other events, as needed.
- Conducts interviews with returning students; determines whether the student meets minimum admission requirements and is otherwise qualified for their program of interest, makes judgment concerning whether the student will be successful within the school and/or program of choice, and works to ensure the student is enrolled in the most appropriate program.
- Conducts tours and refers to other programs or locations as appropriate.
- Works with other departments as necessary to coordinate the re-admissions process, including contacting Collections to check for holds and the Enrollment Services/Registrar’s to have Student SAP completed, Program Planners approved, student scheduling completed.
- Seeks approval from the Enrollment Services Director or Location Director, as appropriate and in accordance with policy in situations requiring prior tuition rates to be held.
- Achieves enrollment and activity goals on an ongoing basis and acts professionally, ethically, and with integrity in all activities in the course of employment with The Sullivan University System.
- Strictly adheres to the provisions of the SUS Admissions Code of Conduct.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of and complies with all applicable corporate, state, and federal regulations and policies for Admissions.
- Facilitates the enrollment and registration process by ensuring proper completion of the enrollment application, collection of appropriate fees, scheduling of financial planning appointment, notice of registration and orientation dates and so forth.
- Ensures retention of enrolled students by maintaining appropriate and regular contact with applicant, notifying enrolled students of various campus retention activities, etcetera, until they begin class.
