The Allied Health Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a Surgical Technology Full-Time Instructor.
Job Duties- Didactic and clinical instruction in the Surgical Technology program
- Continued growth as an instructor and surgical technologist via professional development
- Coordination and monitoring of student clinical placements at local healthcare facilities
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records according to all JCTC and ARC/STSA policies and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by Surgical Technology program coordinator and Dean of Allied Health.
Associate’s degree in related field, certified surgical technologist
Preferred QualificationsTeaching or precepting experience.
Additional Skills RequestedPhysical Requirements:
- Occasional and /or light lifting – limited exposure to disagreeable environmental elements (heat, cold, dirt, chemicals, etc.)
