Job Summary

This is an Oracle Exadata contractor position based in Louisville, KY for a 6-month engagement. The contract will pay a TBD rate and requires more than 3 years of software engineering experience, deep knowledge of Oracle Exadata, advanced security expertise, and proven performance-tuning skills on large-scale enterprise workloads.

Louisville, KY – Contract – 6 months

• Administer and secure Exadata platforms, including storage cells, compute nodes, and Infini Band networks.
• Monitor and tune database and Exadata performance using tools such as AWR, ADDM, and OEM.
• Manage installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades of Exadata and Grid Infrastructure.
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
• Implement and maintain high‑availability solutions such as RAC and Data Guard.
• Design, install, upgrade, patch, tune, monitor, and troubleshoot databases handling terabytes of data and high transaction rates.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent work, training, or education).
• Proficiency with Oracle Exadata, including storage cells, compute nodes, networking, patching, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with Exadata features such as Smart Scan and HCC.
• Advanced security engineering skills: TDE, auditing, IAM, network security, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with performance tuning across Exadata, RAC, ASM, and large-scale enterprise workloads.
