Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd. (FTC) is a publicly listed company in Taiwan specializing in high-precision manufacturing and smart-factory solutions. To expand our global footprint, we established Foxconn Technology USA Corporation (FTC USA) in Louisville, KY, where we are building a next-generation Smart Manufacturing Center. We are now seeking a Facilities Engineer to support the safe and reliable operation of our manufacturing site.
Job Mission
This role serves as a key facilities engineering function supporting the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the U.S. manufacturing site. The Facilities Engineer ensures proper maintenance of building systems, utilities, and critical infrastructure to support high-precision manufacturing and smart factory operations.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and service building systems and utilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Coordinate routine inspections, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective repairs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and local building code requirements.
- Support contractors and vendors for facility upgrades, maintenance activities, and emergency responses.
- Maintain documentation for maintenance activities, work orders, safety checks, and facility system records.
Who We’re Looking For
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in facility or building systems maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and/or fire/life safety systems.
- Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance documentation practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Required Certifications / Training
- OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour General Industry Certification
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Electrical Safety Training
Preferred Certifications
- NFPA fire protection awareness or technician-level training
- First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
- Involvement in building and operating a newly established U.S. manufacturing site
- Exposure to advanced facility systems supporting smart manufacturing and automation
- Hands-on experience in cross-functional manufacturing environment
