We are seeking a skilled Project Control Specialist with strong Primavera P6 expertise to support a large capital portfolio. This role is ideal for a mid-level to senior scheduling professional who thrives in a fast-paced engineering and construction environment and enjoys working across multiple programs and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of Primavera P6, a strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, and experience analyzing portfolio and project schedules to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze portfolio-level schedules supporting large-scale capital programs.
  • Utilize Primavera P6 for baseline development, planning, tracking, monitoring, and performance reporting.
  • Review technical scope documents to determine project scheduling requirements and constraints.
  • Evaluate new project requests against active portfolio schedules to identify overlap, resource conflicts, and risks.
  • Conduct and support portfolio scheduling meetings and communicate schedule status to leadership.
  • Maintain baseline schedules and ensure alignment with established scheduling standards and governance.
  • Provide forecasting, resource planning analysis, and ad-hoc reporting to support leadership decision-making.
  • Manage and maintain Primavera P6 Global Data including Codes, Resources, and UDFs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to schedule templates, P6 data integrity, and scheduling processes.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance P6 deployment, business process alignment, and overall portfolio visibility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of professional scheduling experience
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and schedule calculations
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing technical scope documents for scheduling requirements
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project and portfolio scheduling
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
  • Solid understanding of project planning, estimating, and reporting processes
