Junior Electrical Estimator

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation of electrical cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to develop accurate estimates.
• Utilize estimating software such as Accubid and AutoCAD for project planning.
• Participate in project meetings and provide support to senior estimators.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical estimating or working with an electrical contractor.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

• Experience with Accubid and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Previous experience in an electrical contractor environment is beneficial.

The role is based in an office environment, working as part of an estimating team of four others. The position involves collaboration and communication within the team to achieve project goals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Louisville, KY.
