Job Description /Responsibilities

Join Sazerac as an Equipment Packaging Engineer and play a key role in advancing world-class packaging operations across our network. This role partners across engineering, operations, and leadership teams to drive capital projects, improve system performance, and standardize best practices. You'll contribute to high-impact initiatives involving high-speed bottling, packaging systems, and finished goods handling while supporting Sazerac's continued growth.

What You'll Do:

* Lead and support capital projects focused on bottling, packaging, and material handling systems

* Serve as a technical resource for process optimization, troubleshooting, and performance improvement

* Develop functional design specifications (FDS), cost models, and support vendor selection

* Partner cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and standardization across sites

* Support capacity planning, process documentation, and long-term engineering initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Systems, or related field)

* 2-7 years of engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing or process-driven industries

* Experience leading capital projects, process improvements, or change management initiatives

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Ability to work full-time onsite and travel up to 50% (sites in KY & IN)

Preferred:

* Experience with high-speed bottling, packaging systems, or material handling equipment

* Background in food, beverage, distilling, or similar regulated industries

* Project management or continuous improvement certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

* Ability to work near moving mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment

The annual salary range for this role is $93,735.01 - $. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
