We are seeking a Resident Project Representative / Construction Inspector with prior wastewater and sewer infrastructure inspection experience to join our team and support planned projects located in Louisville, KY. This role requires hands‑on field experience inspecting wastewater systems and sewer pipeline construction.

The successful candidate will work alongside our local team of professionals to perform the following tasks:

  • Conduct field investigations, inspections, and onsite representation for property service connections to existing wastewater and sewer systems.
  • Observe, document, and verify field and construction activities, with a strong focus on sewer and wastewater pipeline infrastructure improvements.
  • Apply prior wastewater inspection experience to ensure construction activities meet project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate communication among contractors, owners/clients, third‑party stakeholders, and internal team members.
  • Review existing as‑built drawings and support the preparation of bid documents related to property service connections and wastewater improvements.
  • Assist in managing the bidding process, including organizing and participating in bid walks.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate daily inspection reports and project documentation, including preparation of record drawings.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while thriving in a fast‑paced consulting environment with multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Promote and drive ownership of health and safety in all aspects of project execution, office, and personal environments.

Here’s what you’ll need

  • 3–5+ years of experience in field construction inspection or field construction, with direct experience inspecting wastewater or sewer infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related tools.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • An Engineering degree or 3+ additional years of hands‑on field construction inspection experience, preferably on wastewater or sewer projects.
  • Direct experience with sewer installation, wastewater systems, and/or trenchless rehabilitation projects.
  • Experience using GIS and/or CAD software (preferred, but not required).

The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
