As an Infrastructure Engineer Sr. at PNC, you will design, build, and maintain software application packages within a Red Hat Linux server environment. The role demands an advanced to expert-level Linux engineer with a strong background in scripting, automation, and modern Dev Ops toolsets. Requirements- Designing, building, and maintaining software application packages within a Red Hat Linux server environment
- Developing, testing, and deploying software application packages for Red Hat Linux servers
- Creating, maintaining, and optimizing RPM packages to streamline application installation and updates
- Authoring and maintaining advanced bash scripts for automation, monitoring, and system management tasks
- Designing and implementing infrastructure automation using Ansible
- Developing Python scripts and utilities for system integration, automation, and operational support
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Linux servers, application packaging, and automation workflows
