Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
Preferred Hybrid Position – Working 2 days/week in one of the following locations:
North Jackson, OH, Sterling, VA or Stafford, CT
The Quote Engineer is responsible for performing Design for Manufacture reviews. These reviews include customer drawing/blueprint analysis while applying Gerber methodologies to determine the method of manufacturing, estimation of costs of materials, and tools needed to build parts according to customer specifications. The Quote Engineer is responsible for following the review guidelines, identifying potential outliers, and documenting analysis findings that will be communicated to the customer.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Review customer data, specifications, and drawings to determine overall manufacturability of the circuit board
- Review process requirements from the customer and determine capability issues
- Interface with suppliers and internal teams, including sales and customer service
- Generate the board summary used by the customer, management, and planning
- Communicate required changes to the design or data in order to facilitate manufacturing
- Experience reading drawings, blueprint, and specifications is required, ideally customer supplied documents.
- Experience working with customers regarding specifications and order requirements preferable, but not required.
- Comprehensive computer skills required.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of the review process and ability to determine basic process flows for various materials and technologies.
- Experience in accurately completing tasks requiring strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated and effective verbal and written communication skills to internal teams and customers.
- Comfortable working independently with little supervision and possessing competent decision making abilities.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and demonstrated involvement in contributing to internal process improvement projects.
- Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
- Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial, or chemical) field preferred
Experience: 2+ years of experience working within a PCB manufacturing environment required.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
