Program OverviewThe Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) is a three‑year entry‑level program that develops and improves new appliance products in Refrigeration, Cooking, Dishwashers, Air Conditioning, and Washers & Dryers. Participants work closely with manufacturing and product management teams to integrate product designs that meet customer needs.
Position & LocationEdison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) – Electrical (Entry‑level, 3‑year program) – January 2027 start – USA, Louisville, KY.
Essential Responsibilities- A three‑year program with at least three technical rotational assignments across various technology areas within GE Appliances.
- Designing and implementing PCB projects, testing and installing components, managing small projects.
- Develop technical problem‑solving skills through advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership.
- Obtain a Master’s Degree in Engineering (required); the program pays the tuition and partners with local universities for customized classes.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0).
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Position is located in Louisville, KY.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Desire and ability to continue learning.
- Commitment to a Technical Engineering Program.
- Solid analytical skills and understanding of electrical schematics and symbols.
- Competence in using electronic tools such as soldering iron and multimeter.
- Strong work ethic.
- Completed at least two co‑op or internship experiences before graduation.
