Mission Hires is recruiting a results‑driven Project Manager (Manufacturing) to lead small to mid‑sized projects focused on controls programming and electrical installation within airport and conveyor system environments. You will own project execution end‑to‑end—safety, schedule, scope, quality, and profitability—serving as the primary customer escalation point while coordinating cross‑functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors. This role includes full P&L ownership, rigorous documentation, scheduling, KPI reporting, and project closeout, with growth opportunities alongside senior leaders on larger programs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple small to mid‑sized projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Ensure project delivery meets safety, timeliness, execution, quality, and profitability targets
  • Set up and maintain all project documentation within the designated Document Management System (DMS)
  • Own full project P&L: budgeting, forecasting, billing strategy, and cost control
  • Serve as primary customer point of contact and escalation for assigned projects
  • Read, interpret, and manage contracts, specifications, risks, and change orders
  • Coordinate internal Engineering and Field Operations for seamless execution
  • Manage subcontractors and vendor relationships to support project success
  • Develop and maintain accurate project schedules; proactively communicate changes

Lead regular project status meetings and deliver KPI reporting on safety, schedule, financials, and risk
  • Drive customer acceptance, final documentation, and project closeout activities
  • Conduct lessons learned reviews and share insights with stakeholders
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to support repeat business
  • Collaborate with Senior Project Managers and Program Managers on larger, complex projects as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience in construction, controls, conveyor systems, or similar environments
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to travel and work non‑standard hours as project demands require
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Preferred:
    AutoCAD knowledge

Experience with MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools
  • Preferred:
