About the Role

Electrical Engineering Co‑op – Spring 2027 at GE Appliances, a Haier company. The rotation runs from January 11, 2027 to May 07, 2027 in Louisville, KY. Housing and relocation assistance is available for eligible students.

• Work with your assignment leader to accomplish established objectives and goals that support the business and also offer learning opportunities.
• Complete innovative technical assignments in a variety of product areas including refrigeration, washer systems, and cooking products. Recent assignments include PCB design, hardware design, and hardware debugging.
• Work on the newest innovations and equipment.
• Participate in development and training opportunities that enhance technical and professional development, including communication skills and resume writing.
• Optional events may be available both in and out of work, such as lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts.
• Participate on committees with peers that offer opportunities to network with company leaders. The committees perform many community service activities such as mentoring & tutoring elementary students.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical).
• Expected graduation date December 2027 or later.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0).
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required. No sponsorship for employment visas will be provided now or in the future.

• Ability to complete two or more co‑op rotations before graduation.
• Relevant coursework.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Desire and ability to learn.
• Passion for engineering.
