Position not approved for third-party recruiters. - Serve as Project Manager and/or technical subject matter expert for selected clients/projects
- Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects. Typical projects may include water/wastewater treatment plants, water transmission mains, water booster stations, sanitary sewers, sanitary force mains, sanitary pump stations, and developing master plans.
- Manage select projects to meet success goals and oversee other engineers in the delivery of projects. Working with office and business leaders, establish goals and budgets.
- Lead business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management. Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery process.
- Assist business development leaders in Indiana to develop SOQs and participate in client interviews, where necessary.
- Train, coach, and mentor junior design staff in developing and delivering design projects.
- Actively lead and participate in project delivery to create an exemplary client experience by delivering work on schedule and budget.
- Support development of strong client relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent engineering program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Indiana; or ability to register through reciprocity.
- 8+ years of related water/wastewater experience.
- Experience with design delivery and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools.
