Water​/Wastewater Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and/or technical subject matter expert for selected clients/projects
• Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects, including treatment plants, transmission mains, booster stations, sewers, force mains, pump stations, and master plans
• Manage selected projects to meet success goals, oversee other engineers, and establish goals and budgets with office and business leaders
• Lead business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management to create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery process
• Assist business development leaders in Indiana to develop SOQ's and participate in client interviews, where necessary
• Train, coach, and mentor junior design staff in developing and delivering design projects
• Actively lead and participate in project delivery to deliver work on schedule and budget
• Support development of strong client relationships with existing and prospective clients

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent engineering program
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Indiana or ability to register through reciprocity
• 8+ years of related water/wastewater experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior Project Management experience a plus
• Experience with design delivery and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
• Self‑motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
