Aboutthis role
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy. This internship is located onsite in Franklin, Kentucky.
You will gain experience in the following:
- Gain practical experience in manufacturing operations
- Gain technical knowledge of applied engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Understand project management scope, timing, and budget
- Assist the Manufacturing Engineering Department with projects that improve capacity, capability, safety, or reduce costs
- Learn the technical of high-speed induction tube welding
- Generate, propose, and plan process enhancement opportunities
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Self‑motivated, self‑directed, and enthusiastic
- Ability to communicate efficiently, work with agility, and collaborate with teams
