Your Opportunity
Join our growing team in Kentucky as a Transportation Drainage Engineer and help shape the future of transportation infrastructure across the region. Lexington, KY is the preferred location for this role, but Louisville, KY will be considered for an experienced candidate. You ll work on a variety of projects including drainage design of roadways, expressways, innovative intersections, and transit facilities—projects that keep communities connected and moving forward.
Your Capabilities and Credentials- Proficiency with Micro Station.
- Experience with ORD Drainage, HEC-RAS (including scour analysis), STORMCAD, HY-8, and other drainage software used by the KYTC Highway Design Drainage Branch highly preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills with the flexibility to adapt and collaborate across multiple projects.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and collaborate with multiple project managers in a dynamic environment.
- Open Roads Designer experience is a plus but not required.
- Completion of a four (4) year college level academic program in Civil Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree is mandatory. A minimum of five (5) years of experience.
- EIT registration required, PE license is preferred.

Pay Transparency:
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Summary:
