Lead Service Technician based in either Kentucky or Ohio.

E. Booth Sr. recognized that there would be a natural evolution in the development of products for the industrial instrumentation process field.
The Lead Service Technician is responsible for providing hands-onfield service execution, as well as technical leadership in the field ofprocess control instrumentation, gas detection, and valves. This role combines senior-level technical expertise with mentoring and training responsibilities to support and develop the technical team while maintaining a significant presence in field operations. This position can be based in Kentucky or Ohio.
Team Lead- Provide leadership and training for FSTechnicians assigned
- Serve as the primary technical resource for technicians, helping with technical issues.
- Assess technician skill levels, identify training gaps, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to schedule necessary training when gaps are identified.
- Collaborate with the ASP operations team to improve processes and reduce inefficiencies.
- W work with ASP management to address team needs,including training and tool
- Assist with calibration reviews and site auditsas needed.
- Review documentation packages being produced FStechnicians
- Ability to lead on-site teams for large projects
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain instrumentation products, analytical devices, gas detection systems, andvalves.
- Diagnose root causes of equipment problems and develop permanent solutions.
- Demonstrate technical competency with processcontrol systems across various applications.
- Read and interpret technical documentation,preparing summaries in both written and oral formats.
- Understand applications and products related tolevel, pressure, flow, temperature, analytical, gas detection, valves and steam surveys.
- Ability to provide technical instruction to customers.
- Identify and communicate sales leads for products and additional services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation,including field service reports and calibration certifications.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process control instrumentation, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) and basic computer applications
- Willingness to learn new technologies and technical platforms
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design preferred
- Clean driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop,crouch, crawl, and climb
- Capable of lifting and carrying loads up to50lbs
- Manual dexterity for working with hands, handtools, and calibration equipment
- Visual acuity for close work, distance viewing,and color differentiation
- The employee will work in various industrial settings, occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, vibration and heights
- Up to 50% Travel, typically 1-6 hours outside of the Indianapolis area, with occasional overnight stays.
- On-call duty required
