Location:
Louisville, Kentucky – will work remotely for first few months and then will be in the plant 5 days a week

Duration: 1 year contract

Compensation: $35/hr to $40/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in packing parts of a vehicle
• 5+ years of experience using Catia, Teamcenter, Pack Assistant, and AutoCAD

Plusses:

• Robotic automation experience

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Packaging Engineer in the Louisville, Kentucky area. The Packaging Engineer will be aiding in the launch of a new EV project. The engineer will be responsible for working with internal teams and vehicle part suppliers to discuss the packaging and ensure that it is meeting all needed requirements. The engineer will need to be highly organized, plan meetings with necessary teams, and be responsible for approving package contents and requirements.
