Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer | Proto-type Equip for a Contract job with a client in Louisville KY.
Rate Range: $40/hour to $50/hour

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
BS in engineering. Mechanical Engineer is preferred. Other engineering disciplines will be considered.
Years of Experience required:2 to 5 years
Hot buttons when reviewing resumes:- Ability to understand and communicate details of projects
- Scheduling of projects and project tasks
- Understanding of statistical principles for decision making
- Ability to communicate CAD revisions to CAD personnel
- Working/some understanding of 3D modeling
- Ability to create 3D models in Creo Parametric would be very helpful
- Design of sheet metal parts
- Design of injection molded parts
- Project management skills- top skill needed
- o Tools used and helpful- MS Project, MS Excel
- Self-directed
- Root Cause and failure analyses
- Design for manufacturability (Injection molded, stamping part design)- postproduction
- System Design experience (Electric controls, wiring, control logic)
- Demonstrated hands-on experience
