Position: Technical Service Engineer (Chemical Process)

The Technical Service Engineer (Chemical Process) provides customer-facing engineering support for molecular sieve, adsorbent, and catalyst products in industrial processes. The role analyzes operating data, troubleshoots unit performance, and prepares technical recommendations. It collaborates with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams and includes frequent travel to customer and plant sites, field testing, reporting, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers and sales by answering technical questions and troubleshooting product application issues in industrial processes.
  • Travel to customer and manufacturing sites to collect operating data, evaluate system performance, and support problem-solving activities.
  • Analyze field, lab, and manufacturing data to assess product performance and develop engineering recommendations using established methods and design tools.
  • Lead or support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives related to product and unit performance.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and application guidance for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Technical Services to plan testing, coordinate sample analysis, and support product applications.
  • Maintain technical databases, project records, and field service equipment while following safety, quality, and ISO procedures.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trainings, conferences, and trade shows to provide technical support for business development.
