POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Engineer is responsible for the on-site execution, technical support, and commissioning of industrial equipment, automation, material handling, or combustion systems at customer facilities. The role includes installation verification, system configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, performance testing, and final acceptance activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, schedules, and budgets.

1. Reviews project documentation, specifications, and site conditions to determine scope, timelines,resources, and procedures for on-site activities (installation completion verification, commissioning, startup, integration, and final acceptance).
2. Plans and executes on-site work activities in coordination with the Commissioning Coordinator or Field Service Manager, including preparation of test plans, tool/equipment requirements, and safety protocols.
3. Verifies electromechanical installations, configures field buses, PLC/HMI functions, and systems; supports performance demonstrations and contractual testing.
4. Analyzes customer site situations, gathers information on issues or opportunities, troubleshoots equipment (mechanical, electrical, controls), performs root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions or tuning.
5. Coordinates with project personnel, subcontractors, customers, and regulatory/governmental agencies toensure activities progress on schedule and within budget.
6. Provides technical advice to site teams, resolves problems, and escalates complex issues to engineeringor controls groups as needed.
7. Prepares and submits detailed site reports, service/inspection feedback, documentation, and updates to internal management, customers, and stakeholders.
8. Ensures compliance with safety rules, quality standards, contractual obligations, and Fives procedures during all on-site interventions.
9. Travels to customer sites as required to perform commissioning, maintenance, retrofits, or emergency support.
10. Ability to provide on-site training for customer maintenance and operations teams, ensuring proper understanding of equipment operation, preventive maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
