Thinkpath Engineering Services (TES) is looking for a Mechanical Designer to work onsite at a customer’s facility in the Springdale, OH area. This will initially be a contract position expected to last 3-4 months, with potential to be extended.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and modify design layouts and detailed drawings.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations.
- Coordinate with engineers to resolve design issues.
- Assist in design concepts and may offer design suggestions.
- Review and check work for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Perform CAD Operator duties and own the processes defining the workflows for these duties
- Create basic 2D or 3D drawings based on redlines or instructions from engineers/designers.
- Make revisions to existing drawings.
- Organize and manage drawing files.
- Owns QS documentation regarding the creation and editing of drawings and parts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in drafting/design or related field.
- 3+ years of CAD experience.
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools, including 3D modeling.
- Design responsibility and ability to work with minimal supervision.
