Senior Accountant - Record to Report

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and US GAAP
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses to ensure the integrity of financial data
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management schedules to support business decision-making
  • Ensure proper recording of financial transactions and adherence to internal accounting policies and external regulatory requirements
• Compliance and Controls
  • Support external and internal audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Assist in maintaining and improving internal control frameworks to ensure compliance with corporate governance policies
  • Monitor compliance with local regulatory and tax requirements for assigned legal entities
• Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in R2R processes through automation, system enhancements, and standardization
  • Assist in implementing best practices to improve financial close timelines and reporting accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure smooth integration of financial systems
• Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Perform financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and insights that support business objectives
  • Assist in developing dashboards and financial reports to provide visibility into key financial metrics
  • Work closely with business finance teams to provide meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making
• Stakeholder Relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and external auditors, to ensure smooth financial reporting processes
  • Act as a key point of contact for general ledger-related inquiries and issue resolution
  • Provide excellent service to internal stakeholders by delivering timely and accurate financial information

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate finance or shared services environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with financial reporting tools
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and create meaningful reports
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
