Position Summary
Responsible for following the company’s credit and collection policies. Review and set credit limits, review DNB reports, analyze credit reports and reference information, input customers into Propelis systems, work to reduce overall financial risk, review payment history and assist AR team with all other special requests. This is an entry level position.
General PurposeAssist the Credit department to achieve overall company goals and objectives by effectively working with the ARS team, Sales, customers and other areas within Propelis.
Role Qualifications- Preferred but not required 2+ years in credit analysis and establishment.
- Previous credit and collections experience where you actively engaged in customer reviews.
- Moderate skills in Excel.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work on all Account Setup requests across Propelis.
- Assist the Customer Master team with inboxes, requests, and analysis.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to AR Supervisor and AR Manager on customer credit worthiness, financial history, risk, and credit limits.
- Communication skills across all areas of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Team oriented individual who strives to succeed and achieve company goals.
- Excel skills (Pivots, VLOOKUP’s, etc.).
- Provide a high level of professionalism to both internal and external people.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability.
Reports to Accounts Receivable Supervisor.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods of time; perform keyboard entry for long periods of time; reach with hands and arms; stoop; talk or hear.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to travel via airplane to customer sites, if necessary.
- Comply with all Propelis standards and applicable regulations.
- Comply with Propelis policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Keep work area organized and clean.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (may be substituted for experience).
- Advanced computer skills – ability to demonstrate knowledge of systems and resources.
- Previous credit experience demonstrating the ability to lower past due and financial risk.
