Senior Asset Manager

Position Overview

As a Sr. Asset Manager within PNC's Multi Family Capital organization, you will oversee a portfolio of Low‑Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investments on behalf of the equity partner, managing assets from construction through stabilization and disposition. The role focuses on protecting and enhancing equity value, evaluating credit performance and equity risk/returns, and conducting regular site inspections.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring construction progress and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Reviewing financial and operational performance and ensuring compliance with LIHTC regulations.
• Assessing sponsor performance and overall investment health.
• Conducting regular site inspections and preparing detailed asset reports.
• Traveling to support on‑site evaluations and maintain asset visibility.
• Engaging with external parties, including borrowers, legal counsel, rating agencies, and investors.
• Collaborating with internal business partners to drive cross‑departmental decision making.
• Participating in process improvement initiatives and special departmental projects.

• University or college degree.
• At least 3 years of direct industry experience in asset management, construction, or commercial real estate.
• Strong construction knowledge and hands‑on asset oversight experience.
• Proficiency in evaluating credit performance and equity risk/returns.
• Knowledge of LIHTC regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to assess sponsor performance and investment health.
• Experience with site inspections and asset reporting.
• Expertise in financial analysis and asset reporting.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.

Base Salary: $60,000.00 – $. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. The role is incentive eligible based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
