Responsible for the overall management and control of all financial and operational functions of Brown‑Forman Employees Credit Union. Provides leadership and direction to ensure the short‑ and long‑term profitability of the credit union, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations in accordance with GAAP.

• Lead the credit union and its staff, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, performance management, and long‑term goal alignment for team members.
• Direct financial strategy and reporting, preparing annual operating budget proposals, analyzing data for stability, and producing regular financial statements and investment status reports.
• Ensure rigorous regulatory compliance, serving as the Compliance Officer to manage state and federal audits, including Bank Secrecy Act and Anti‑Money Laundering programs.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity, monitor withdrawal and loan needs, maintain cash policies, and coordinate with the Federal Reserve and Kentucky Corporate Credit Union for ACH and cash requirements.
• Drive member engagement and growth, overseeing all marketing efforts, including advertising, promotional campaigns, and quarterly newsletter communications.
• Facilitate board governance, leading monthly board meetings and collaborating with directors to define and execute strategic goals and service offerings, while upholding the mission and values of the credit union.
• Oversee technology and risk management, maintaining credit union software integrity through vendor upgrades and managing annual liability coverage for staff and board.
• Protect assets, independently collecting on past‑due accounts and coordinating legal actions, collateral repossessions, and bankruptcy claims.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in a banking or credit union setting.
• Ability to independently manage and complete assigned workload within established deadlines in a high‑pressure, team environment using initiative, discretion, and independent judgment.
• Ability to perform work with accuracy, attention to detail, and within established time frames.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel.
• Proven analytical and mathematical skills; ability to handle detailed information with an extreme degree of accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive employee financial information.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel within the company and with external contacts.
• Proficient in use of Excel and Word.
