Position Summary

The Director of Finance provides strategic and operational financial leadership for Fives Intralogistics Corporation. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role leads financial planning and analysis, forecasting, management reporting, partnering with the Director of Project Accounting for project financial oversight, process improvement, and cross-functional business partnership. The position supports sound decision-making by improving financial visibility, strengthening forecasting discipline, and translating business performance into clear, actionable insights for executive and functional leaders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes in partnership with the CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of revenue, margin, backlog, cash flow, project performance, expense trends, and business unit profitability.
  • Develop management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and executive-level financial summaries that support operating reviews and strategic decisions.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Service, Project Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functional leaders to evaluate performance, risks, opportunities, capacity needs, and investment decisions.
  • Support project financial governance in partnership with the Director of Project Accounting, including project margin reviews, cost-to-complete analysis, revenue recognition support, risk identification, and coordination with project accounting and project controls resources.
  • Monitor working capital, cash flow drivers, customer invoicing trends, collections exposure, and supplier payment impacts; recommend actions to improve cash visibility and financial discipline.
  • Strengthen financial processes, reporting cadences, and internal controls to improve accuracy, predictability, consistency, and scalability across the Finance organization.
  • Lead, coach, and develop assigned finance team members, including financial analysis resources and other direct or indirect reports as assigned.
  • Prepare financial presentations and business case analyses for leadership initiatives, organizational redesign efforts, capital investments, cost improvement opportunities, and growth projects.
  • Support audits, compliance activities, corporate reporting requirements, and special projects as requested by the CFO or executive leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, improve data integrity, and expand the use of financial systems, ERP data, Excel, Power BI, and other decision-support tools.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced credential preferred.
  • Seven or more years of progressive finance, accounting, FP&A, project finance, controllership, or related financial management experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting a project-based, manufacturing, engineering, systems integration, or industrial equipment business preferred.
  • Demonstrated strength in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, project margin analysis, and business partnership.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition concepts, internal controls, audit practices, and financial compliance expectations.
  • Strong ERP and financial systems aptitude; SAP or comparable ERP experience preferred.
