Position Overview
An organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This role will work closely with finance and business leaders to provide insights into financial performance, support decision-making, and drive overall business results.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis against budget and prior periods
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports
- Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends and insights
- Support leadership with data-driven recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers
- Provide financial insight to support operational and strategic initiatives
- Assist in evaluating business opportunities, investments, and cost-saving initiatives
- Gather, analyze, and interpret large data sets from multiple systems
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data accuracy
- Support system enhancements and automation initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4-6years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis)
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
- Familiarity with ERP systems, BI tools, or data visualization platforms
- MBA, CPA, or CFA (or progress toward certification) is a plus
- Experience in private equity
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
