Job Purpose:

This position focuses on commercial and industrial banking for the Louisville and Lexington market areas. Will build and lead a high performing commercial banking team responsible for identifying middle market prospects, acquiring new middle market clients, retaining middle market clients, and expanding the relationships we have with existing middle market clients, This role requires a dynamic leader who can make inroads into the middle-market business community, promote Peoples Bancorp’s capabilities, and foster strong relationships in the region.

The successful candidate will create excitement around the organization’s product offerings and collaborate with other Peoples Bancorp business units to identify and capitalize on commercial banking opportunities.

Job Duties:

Business Development & Client Acquisition

• Gain a broad understanding and appreciation of Peoples Bancorp, its competitive advantages, the businesses in which it competes, its systems, methodologies and processes, and the culture of the organization.
• Utilizing Peoples Bancorp's key competitive market advantage to help grow the commercial banking business in the Louisville and Lexington markets.
