Summary

Reporting to the Mortgage Lending Manager, this full-time, non-exempt hourly role completes the setup of all newly closed mortgage loans and maintains escrow accounts at the credit union. The Mortgage Loan Servicer performs all necessary reports as requested to support the mortgage department and answers member and co-worker's questions in a courteous and professional manner.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Process all insurance mail to ensure the protection of the credit union's collateral.
• Prepare mortgage lien releases in a timely manner.
• Analysis of escrow accounts Adjustable Rate Mortgage changes, Home Equity changes, and monthly reports.
• Disburse escrow payments for property taxes and Homeowners Insurance to protect the credit union's interest.
• Posting and balancing daily transactions including payments, payoffs, and new loans.
• Review vendor bills and requests from others (subordinations, payoff's, loan changes, etc.)
• Cooperate and work together as a team with co-workers, maintain a neat work area, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Practice confidentiality where indicated in employee matters and credit union operations.
• Answer servicing phone calls and e-mails in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications and Certifications

• High School education or GED required.
• 1 to 3 years of similar or related experience.
