Pharmacy - Business Office Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and timely issuance of invoices to customers.
• Partner with health‑care professionals and billing staff to resolve unresolved billing issues with Medicare, Medicaid, Prescription Drug Plans (PDP’s) and third‑party insurances.
• Manage the month‑end reporting process.
• Oversee claims, billing and audit processes.
• Review and verify adjustments per facility guidelines.
• Supervise, approve and review time‑off requests and timesheets; manage the billing department.
• Conserve resources by adhering to financial stewardship and prudent judgment related to expenses.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Travel minimally, including overnight stays as necessary.

Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3–5 years of billing supervisory experience in healthcare, senior living, pharmacy or long‑term‑care environments preferred.
• 3–5 years of Medicare Part D experience.
• Minimum 1 year of multi‑facility experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
